George is responsible for administering the beef checkoff program and directing all activities of the MBIC, including planning, budgeting, staff and program oversight.  He serves as a spokesperson for the beef industry and maintains industry relations with media and producer groups.  In his free time, you will usually find George enjoying the outdoors or working at his family farm in Northeastern Michigan. 

Sara handles all of the bookkeeping for the commission, assists with all MBIC projects and meetings and serves as Executive Vice President of the Michigan Cattlemen’s Association.
