Recipe Tear Pads-(3"x5", 100ct.) Tear pads provide consumers with a full-color photo and easy directions for a great beef meal idea. Each tear pad covers one recipe, tear pad recipes are: Beef & Noodles (ground beef), Pot Roast, Beef Stroganoff (round tip steak), beef stew and ribeye roast. Tear pads are $1.25 each, plus shipping charges.

Meal Solutions Resource Manual-Designed to assist retailers in their prepared foods merchandising efforts. Three of the four sections within the manual contain beef recipes (ready-to-eat-heat-and-eat, ready-to-cook), merchandising suggestions, consumer labeling requirements and cooking instructions. The fourth area includes food safety, cut identification and storage and handling information. The cost of the manual is $25, plus shipping charges.


On-Pack Labels

Cut & Save Labels-Designed to help consumers use today’s more closely-trimmed (¼" or less), vacuumed-packaged beef. The labels are self-adhesive, on-package instruction pamphlets that provide illustrated cutting directions, storage and wrapping guidelines, product information and recipes. Labels cover: Inside Top Round-denuded, Top Loin Strip, Rib Eye, Peeled Tip (cap off knuckle), Chuck Roll-neck off, Brisket-flat, Top Sirloin Butt, Tenderloin; Peeled Tenderloin and Peeled Butt Tenderloin, Eye Round, Tri-tip and Bottom Round-flat. Each roll contains 100 labels and the cost is $12/roll, plus shipping charges. Point-of-Purchase materials are also available (backer cards w/clip, $3 each, ironman insert, $2 each).

NCBA Recipe Labels-Provides consumers with a full-color photo of the finished recipe and simple instructions to assist in easy meal preparation. The labels currently available are: Italian Beef Sandwich (bottom round roast), Steak & Corn Relish (chuck top blade steak), Swiss Steak (round or chuck shoulder steak), Stir Fry (top sirloin), Kabobs (top sirloin), Grecian Skillet (ribeye steak), Ribeye Roast, Steak Wraps (flank or top sirloin), Taco Beef Pasta (round tip steak), Mexican Beef Stew (beef for stew), Pacific Rim (flank steak) and Pot Roast. The labels come in rolls of 250 with a cost of $5/roll, plus shipping charges.

Confident Cooking With Beef-A comprehensive consumer guide to purchasing and preparing beef. The brochure also covers beef nutrition, storage and food safety. In addition, there are eight delicious beef recipe ideas. Brochures are .25 each.

Beef Retail Cuts Consumer Handout-Full-color chart (8½"x11") showing the wholesale and retail cuts of beef. Each retail cut is named in accordance with the Uniform Retail Meat Identity Standards program. Chart also provides correct cookery methods for each cut pictured. Charts are .14 each.

Beef Pocket Guide-A useful tool designed to aid the store level meat department staff in answering consumer questions. The tri-fold piece addresses issues related to cooking methods, cooking timetables, marinade information, how much to buy and beef storage information. Pocket guides are .10 each.


Beef & Veal Photography

Beef up advertising with our new Beef & Veal CD ROM/Ad Planner. Packed with 60 beef and veal recipes, product photos, logos and consumer tips, the new Beef & Veal CD ROM/Ad Planner will help you add impact to your advertising. The CD ROM provides the art you need to produce great-looking advertisements and point-of-sale materials. It can also be used to update beef information and recipes on your company’s Web site. Cost per kit is $25, plus shipping charges.

Counter Intelligence Educational Video-Kit is designed to be educational for all levels of the meat department. The program works to assist retailers in being more capable of answering cookery questions from their customers. Kit elements include a 27-minute instructional video along with a handbook. The kit is available to retailers at no charge.


Food Safety Information

Safe Food Backgrounder-A resource folder containing safety tips for consumers, answers to commonly asked questions about foodborne illnesses and descriptions of some common foodborne pathogens and their sources. Safe Food Backgrounder is available in limited quantities at no charge.

Plating It Safe Brochure/Black & White Line Art-Easy-to-read, full-color brochure contains a safety checklist for consumers to use during each step in food handling – from grocery shopping through storing leftovers. Current cooking temperatures for meat are included along with a list of common food safety mistakes. Brochures are .10¢ each, plus shipping charges, brochure line art is available at no charge.

Perfect Burger Tear Pad-(3"x6½", 100ct.) Provides consumers with easy tips for preparing mouthwatering, perfectly-cooked burgers every time. Full-color photography provides information on how a properly cooked burger should look. Tear pads are $1 each, plus shipping charges.
