The Beef Checkoff Program is a producer-funded marketing and research program designed to increase domestic and/or international demand for beef. Promotion, research and new product development, and a variety of other marketing tools are what drives the success of the checkoff.
Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) is a nationally coordinated and state implemented program that is funded through the beef checkoff. BQA guidelines are designed to make certain all beef consumers can take pride in what they purchase – and can trust and have confidence in the entire beef industry.
